Growing up In the Caribbean, my childhood was marked not by innocence, but by wounds and traumas. I endured traumas that tried to silence me and bury my dreams, the type of traumas no child should ever have to experience. From the age of 6 years, life was nothing but a downhill battle. “I SURVIVED THOU”

As a young woman, getting my nails done was never just about beauty—it was about self-expression. Every design became my voice, carrying the creativity I wasn’t always allowed to share, the confidence I didn’t always feel, and the beauty I thought I had lost. Through nails, I found myself.

My very first business was a nail salon, and it was a success. But when I migrated to the UK in search of a better life, I had to leave it behind. The nails salon industry was extremely saturated, I decided to move away from the salon setting and that’s when I discovered press-ons. What started as a necessity soon grew into something deeper—an extension of my identity.

Over the years, I explored other businesses, but nothing felt like “me.” Then it clicked: I had always been known for my nails—bold, creative, unapologetic. Why not turn my passion into my purpose?

That’s how Pretty Girls Luvl was born.

Pretty Girls Luvl ( pronounced as Pretty Girls Luv with the L being silent) isn’t just about nails—it’s about giving women the freedom to express their creativity, power, and uniqueness without limits.
